This company file has been disconnected
Your QuickBooks Desktop company file is no longer connected to FinAccrual. The workspace owner disconnected it from the customer portal, and FinAccrual will refuse to post to that company file until it is reconnected. The portal refuses to disconnect while a push is still in progress, so nothing in flight is lost.
What this means
- No further posting. FinAccrual will not pull the chart of accounts or post journal entries to this company file. In Excel, Sync and Push show Company file disconnected for everyone in the workspace, including members.
- Your books are untouched. Journal entries already posted remain in QuickBooks exactly as they are. Disconnecting does not remove, reverse, or alter anything in your accounting records.
- Your workbook still works. Schedules and entries in your Excel file are yours and stay on your computer. You simply cannot post them until the file is reconnected.
What we keep
We never stored the financial content of your entries — no amounts, balances, or account mappings. What remains is a small posting history (company identifier, document numbers, posting status and dates) so your audit trail stays intact. You can ask us to delete your account and that history at any time.
Want to reconnect?
Only the workspace owner can reconnect a company file. In the customer portal, open Companies and choose Reconnect next to the file. Then, with that company file open in QuickBooks Desktop, click Sync in the FinAccrual pane in Excel; posting resumes from there. Reconnecting counts against your plan's company-file limit, so if every slot is in use the portal will say so. We never see your QuickBooks Desktop credentials at any point.
